Stumbled upon your blog as I was “exploring” my home for 10 days, the Mary hermitage. I am a Presbyterian pastor from Texas starting the third month of my Lilly-funded sabbatical. What a gift/journey it has been, and how wonderful it is to be here. Feels like home in so many ways.
Excited for you and your husband….hope you are indeed able to go to the Holy Land. We were to go there and had to change plans, but had an amazing time in Northern Ireland instead.
Blessings,
Mally
P.S. Vicar of Dibley is a family favorite of ours (:

That’s how some of the folks working there deliver fishes from one employee to another: by tossing them — the fish — through the air and catching them. Great fun, and what a metaphor for the last 2,000 years! In Rome, let the bones of the place — I’m speaking geologically here — carry you around those seven hills. Don’t forget the Trevi Fountain… And the Spanish Steps… And the Colosseum… What a wonderful experience for , and for you and Adam!
