    Whatever. My 10-year-old daughter Hannah uses the word dismissively. I had gotten out of the habit of hearing it, but these days Hannah comes back from school and I ask about something and the conversation does not go her way, she says ‘Whatever’, and tunes out.
    Your sampler, the context of your sampler, invites me to hear another whatever, a theological whatever. An acceptance of what is, the holy, the sacred, because it is.
